Direct-to-object printing
Print graphics directly onto compatible sheets, panels and objects. Share your material, dimensions, artwork and production requirement to begin a configuration discussion.
Start with the material and finished product
A suitable UV flatbed printer starts with what you need to print. Material composition, surface finish, thickness, size and shape can affect the recommended setup and print test.
Share representative samples and explain whether the finished item will be installed indoors or outdoors, handled frequently, exposed to cleaning or viewed at close range. Fairprint can use that brief to discuss an appropriate configuration without relying on a generic specification.
Compare the complete printing setup
The right comparison uses representative material, the same artwork and clearly recorded settings. A headline speed alone does not describe usable production.
Application fit
Confirm that the offered model and ink configuration have been assessed for the material and intended use.
Working area
Review the usable print area, supported object dimensions, height clearance, positioning and material-holding method.
Print workflow
Discuss artwork preparation, colour channels, software, operator steps and any required post-print process.
Plan a representative sample trial
Send the brief
Provide material details, dimensions, artwork and intended use.
Agree the test
Confirm the machine, ink, mode and evaluation method.
Inspect the output
Review detail, alignment, colour and adhesion using a suitable method.
Record the setup
Keep the approved sample and the conditions used to produce it.
UV flatbed printer or UV DTF printer?
A UV flatbed printer prints directly onto a compatible item held on the machine’s working area. A UV DTF printer creates a transfer that is later applied to a compatible surface. These workflows involve different handling, consumables and production steps.
If the transfer method suits your products better, review the Fairprint UV DTF printer page.
Client verification before ordering
Ask for the final model specification, scope of supply, approved materials, electrical requirements, training, warranty and service terms for the quoted configuration.
Bring your material into the machine discussion
Send the intended material, object dimensions and artwork so the next step is based on a real application.
